Description:

LS GreenLink is building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce high-voltage submarine power cables in Chesapeake, VA. These cables are integral to the global supply chain for offshore wind farms and designed to optimize bulk clean-power transmission. This operation will generate a variety of professional and production positions and help bring advanced manufacturing capabilities to support the clean technology industry in Virginia ... and you can be a part of it!  We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant, who will play a key role in setting up the basic administrative and operational processes in a new organization. They will focus primarily on document preparation and management, making sure everything aligns with company policies. Even though the organization is just starting out, operations assistants provide essential support to executives, helping internal processes run smoothly. This allows the leadership to establish core functions efficiently and prepare for future growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support the preparation and management of essential documents, including internal and external reports, as a top priority during the organization's early-phase in development Assist in daily operational tasks and administrative duties to ensure smooth workflows Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility Support various departments with logistical and clerical tasks to foster collaboration. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments to facilitate efficient time management for executives and teams Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Handle stakeholder inquiries and direct them to appropriate personnel to ensure prompt resolution Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to support regulatory adherence Note: As the organization is in its early-development phase, additional responsibilities may include supporting strategic initiatives and assisting with project-specific needs.  Education and Experience Requirements:  At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or operational role Associate or Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred Authorization to work in the United States Skills and Abilities Required: Must have strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must have attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping preferred Ability to build strong relationships across all levels within an organization Team player with the ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite PandoLogic.
