As an Employment Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in transforming lives by assessing clients' vocational skills and connecting them with meaningful work opportunities. You'll leverage your expertise in case management to guide clients through all stages of their vocational journey. This will include assessing clients' needs and developing customized vocational placement plans, providing supportive counseling and on-the-job training supervision, offering rehabilitative and habilitative vocational training to clients living with mental health and co-occurring disorders, navigating governmental regulations related to the employment of individuals with disabilities to ensure access to the best resources, conducting individual and group training sessions to enhance skills and foster independence, and maintaining accurate client records while contributing to the overall success of the program.
Are you a good fit for this Employment Services Coordinator job?

We're looking for someone with a strong background in Human Services and case management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human services (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling), along with at least one year of experience in case management and vocational training, specifically working with adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. You must also hold Board of Counseling certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) and have proficiency in using case management software to maintain and analyze client data. A valid state Driver's License is required to facilitate travel between client locations.

In addition to your qualifications, we value individuals who are compassionate, proactive, and have a deep understanding of rehabilitative practices. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empower individuals through meaningful vocational training will be crucial to your success.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services such as Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
  • One (1) year case management and vocational training experience with adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
  • Must be registered with the Board of Counseling to practice as a QMHP-A.
  • Valid state Driver's License.
