Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of quality Scouting programs in underserved communities, aligned with the BSA's Mission.
• Provide leadership to the Colonial Virginia Council and Program Specialist, overseeing the Scoutreach Program.
• Manage staffing, organization, and implementation of Scoutreach operations.
• Analyze resources and deploy staff to meet strategic objectives.
• Recruit and lead the volunteer Scoutreach Committee.
• Develop expertise in local neighborhoods to better serve low-income and diverse youth populations.
• Build partnerships with outside organizations to enhance program delivery.
• Create strategies to reach youth with disabilities.
• Coordinate marketing efforts to increase visibility and engagement.
• Optimize the use of resources and personnel to maximize service efficiency.
• Promote the program at community events and expand partnerships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Energetic, service-oriented personality with strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including public speaking.
