Full-Time Housekeeper - Large, Well-Managed Home (8,000 sq. ft.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Location: Frederickburg, VA
Compensation: Paid through payroll + benefits (2 weeks PTO, 6-7 holidays, 3-5 sick days)

Overview:
A high-end, 8,000 sq. ft. residence is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the home on a consistent weekly schedule. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable creating and following a cleaning/maintenance plan, and experienced working in high-end homes with clients.

The principals travel about every other week and needs someone who will keep the home running smoothly at all times.

There are two small dogs and one cat in the home, so pet-friendly candidates are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

• Maintain an 8,000 sq. ft. home on a structured weekly cleaning schedule.
• Ensure all regular cleaning tasks are done consistently and thoroughly.
• Stay on top of weekly, monthly, and seasonal deep-cleaning tasks.
• Keep the home always "under control," organized, and guest-ready.
• Change and launder bed linens weekly.
• Clean and organize the refrigerator; put groceries away properly.
• Maintain order in all living spaces and ensure everything is in its proper place.
• Run household errands as needed.

• Assist with laundry, folding, and ironing.
• Prepare and take garments to the dry cleaner; pick up and put away once returned.

• Sign for and communicate with vendors and deliveries.
• Provide light pet care, including letting out the two dogs.

• When the family travels (approximately every other week), stay in the guest apartment to care for the animals.
• The family would love someone who can stay in thehome and care for the pets when they travel, but this is not a requirement. It would generally be weekends and housekeeper would be compensated.

• Long-term staffing history; previous housekeeper stayed 9 years.
• Household of two adults.
• Principal is an interior designer who travels frequently.
• Previously had part-time support 1-3 days per week; the couple is now seeking consistent full-time help to keep the home running smoothly.

• Prior experience working in high-end or luxury homes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific preferences.
• Ability to create and maintain a structured cleaning schedule.
• Comfort with pets (2 small dogs, 1 cat).
• Trustworthy, dependable, and self-directed.
• Comfortable running errands and managing vendors.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to be paid on payroll.
