We provide paid training, certification and ongoing support for flexible scheduling offered morning, midday, evening and overnight shifts. We welcome seasoned professionals and individuals seeking a rewarding career in caregiving. Home Instead mission is to ensure person-centered care, tailored to meet the needs of older adults in the privacy of their own homes. We provide high-quality, nonmedical home care for adults, seniors and elderly individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. This support empowers our client's to remain independent and comfortable, while receiving a one-on-one personal approach to their care needs. Home Instead is seeking a dedicated person with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Home Care to our client's.
• Engage client's in meaningful conversation, social interaction, and companionship.
• Foster a positive relationship with client's, family members and care professionals.
• Assist in daily living tasks, physical activities, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Help assist with medication reminders, ambulation and mobility support.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene services.
• Transporting client's to appointments, run errands or accompany clients while shopping.
• Monitor the health of our client' s and reporting concerns.
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean and well maintained to provide a safe environment.

Skills and Experience

• The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks.
• Cheerful and pleasant demeanor.
• Experience as a caregiver.
• PCA/CNA preferred.
• No experience as a caregiver? We will invest in the right candidate.

Job Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Legal to work in United States.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Must have an insured vehicle with proof of auto owners insurance for transporting clients.
• A negative TB Test Screening.
• May be required to lift 25+ pounds.
