Job Responsibilities

• Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination

Skills and Competencies

• Warehouse job experience 0-2 years
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers.
• Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company.
• An understanding of purchase order software platforms.
• Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate.

Physical Skills

• Required up to 50 lbs.
• The work will require you to position yourself regularly to be stationary for 50% of your work-day, and ascend/descend stairs, and kneeling and/or squatting for the remainder of your work-day.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Exposed to work environments that may contain dirt and dust.

Education

• High School Diploma required
• Graduate of a polytechnic/technical college or technical degree preferred.
