Warehouse Worker
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you'll help receive, store, organize, and distribute materials and equipment to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and count incoming stock items; record data manually or using a computer system
Pack and unpack items for storage or distribution
Compare physical inventory counts with system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Organize and store materials in an orderly, accessible manner
Label items using tags, stamps, or electronic marking tools
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Track usage, damage, or loss of stock and equipment
Inspect items for wear or defects and report issues to supervisors
Support and guide other warehouse or stockroom team members as needed
Essential Skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with warehouse equipment, safety procedures, and security practices
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5–7 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Material Handler)
Experience with packing, picking, inventory management, and material handling

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.44 - $18.44/hr.
