Role Summary:

Cinemark Team Associates cultivate a hospitable environment for our Guests. As a Team Associate, you will be efficient, accurate, and well-versed in movie details, special events, upcoming attractions, pricing, promotions, and more. Your goal is to guarantee the highest quality service in every aspect of Guest interaction. Equipped with knowledge of theater operations, you will address guest inquiries, ensuring an exceptional experience. Team Associates may also assume various roles, including Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist, depending on staffing needs. You must be able to execute the core functions of these roles.

Responsibilities:

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Cinema Team Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Welcoming Guests with a friendly smile in a timely and professional manner.

• Operating Cinemark's POS system for all transactions performed at your assigned register.

• Verifying tickets at the podium and directing Guests to their respective auditoriums.

• Ensuring ticket sales comply with the MPAA rating system, studio policies, and company regulations.

• Providing clear information regarding pricing, movie schedules, special events, alternative movie options, and general theater inquiries.

• Responding to phone inquiries and questions from Guests in a professional, customer-centric manner.

• Conducting theater inspections to ensure quality movie presentation, sound integrity, and addressing any safety concerns within auditoriums.

• Maintaining a clean and tidy theater property, including the lobby, aisles, restrooms, auditoriums, exits, and parking areas.

• Preparing food and expertly operating cooking, warming, and popping equipment.

• Regularly sanitizing high-contact areas for both Employees and Guests.

• Complying with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations.

• Monitoring safety and security aspects, reporting any issues like trip hazards or suspicious activity to management.

• Assisting with all opening and closing responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

• Complete basic food handling training and acquire any local or state mandated certifications, health cards, or food handler permits if necessary.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Regular and consistent attendance is required.

• Possess an enthusiastic and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.

• Deliver outstanding Guest service.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Must have a good command of English.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Ability to take direction and follow through effectively.

• Respond promptly to tasks.

• Accurate cash handling abilities and basic mathematical skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Regular standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theater.

• Noisy environment, which may become moderate to high at times.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
