Saint Patrick Catholic School is currently seeking an Advancement Associate to nurture and support the Director of Advancement and the administrative staff for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.

Overview

Founded in 2005, Saint Patrick Catholic School (Norfolk, Virginia) is an independent Catholic school with an enrollment of approximately 419 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Boasting a vibrant and accomplished team of educators, the school encourages students to develop a growth mindset while creating an educational framework focused on reinforcing six "pillars" of education that support the total formation of each student. Responsibilities

• Work with the Alumni Coordinator on the Annual Fund, Giving Thanks Programs, and Annual Breakfast
• Manage all donor tracking and send out informational packages
• Process and maintain records of all gifts and pledge transactions
• Prepares receipts and acknowledgement letters for gifts received
• Assists in creating e-newsletters and all printed materials used for development and marketing
• Aids in the planning and implementation of all fundraising events and Evenings at Saint Patrick
• Responsible for ordering the Wolfhound Spirit Store merchandise and preparing all orders for pick-up
• Puts together the welcome packages to the new faculty and staff upon hire for HR
• Coordinates with parent volunteers for planned Hound Down Days
• Attends after-school events and assists with the concession stand when needed.
• Attend regular faculty and department meetings and contribute to teamwork and positive morale
• Participate in faith formation experiences
• Perform other duties as directed by the school administration

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, possess strong interpersonal skills
• Must be computer savvy and know Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds, climb stairs, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and run
• Authorized to work in the United States

Education and Experience

• College Degree preferred
• Great opportunity for someone looking to get into the Marketing or Advertising field
• Administrative/Office experience a plus!
