Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.
The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner contract position offers:
- Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:30pm
- Outpatient Clinic
- No Nights, Weekend or Holidays
- No On-Call
- Stable Patient Population

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner position will have the following requirements:
- Master's Degree from an approved OB/GYN or women's health nurse practitioner program
- Or master's degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program will be accepted with women's health/gynecology experience
- National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP or AMCB
- Any State License
- Two years of experience in past three years
- Perform physical examinations on women, including gynecological conditions such as contraception, infertility, menopause
- Order screening and diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, mammography
- Perform and interpret screening procedures to include cervical screening, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies and IUD insertion
- Prescribe therapies and medications
