Target Hiring Ranges Based on Experience:

Park Ranger I: $51,102.55 - $59,989.95
Park Ranger II: $56,877.85 - $66,769.65
Park Ranger, Sr: $66,058.80 - $79,821.05

PARK RANGER, SENIOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Park Administration, Forestry, Wildlife Management,
Environmental Science, Civil War History or a related field and 3-5 years of experience as a Park Ranger
with the Newport News Park System, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
