Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

This is a Hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Newport News, Virginia, in accordance with the Ferguson's Flex schedule; 3 days in office / 2 days remote. This will be a full time (40 hours) Monday through Friday role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Early Career Recruiting team to provide timely assistance in creating requisitions for Early Career programs, support needs for Career Fairs and various campus events, assist with interview scheduling, provide coordination support for on-site Recruiting events, support Relocation assistance needs for incoming new hires, move candidates through recruiting process through Workday, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and process offer accepts and move candidates to pre-employment screening

  • Use various Recruiting platforms to register for Early Career events and post on Early Career job boards

  • Run reporting to capture business costs and charges for Recruiting events, and Recruiting tool usage

  • As needed, partner with our Experienced Recruiting team and Hiring Managers to provide assistance in opening requisitions, handle internal and external job postings, and create, prepare, and send offer letters to hiring managers

  • Prioritize timely follow-up and follow-through, thoroughness in work and attention to detail

  • Use Workday Help to assist associates with Talent Acquisition related questions

  • Anticipate issues before they arise and effectively problem solve in advance - independently making quick, educated decisions

  • Participate in a variety of operations-based projects to help our Recruiting Team to meet and exceed corporate objectives

  • Provide other administrative support the recruitment function as business needs require

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our internal business leaders and customers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

  • Prior experience working in HR/Recruiting function or staffing agency as a Talent Acquisition / Recruiting Coordinator is preferred

  • Expertise in working with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel and Teams) and working across time zones

  • Prior Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience is strongly preferred, Workday is a plus!

  • Experience with Smartsheet and/or Workday Help or similar ticketing system is preferred

  • A high level of dedication to delivering outstanding customer service

  • Impeccable confidentiality, attention to detail, and self-organization

  • Positive, flexible and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

  • Ability to learn quickly and balance multiple priorities at once while being efficient and calm in the face of change

  • Effective listening skills and strong communication skills (oral, written and telephone skills)

  • Patience and poise to interact with management at all levels

  • Strong teammate who demonstrates interest and ability in contributing to the recruiting team success

Pay Range:

$19.62 - $27.45

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
