Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 hourly

Shift: 08:00:00 - 16:30:00

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the General team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
• Provide physical therapy services in LTAC facility with 101 beds • Work 35 hours per week on night shift • Complete 3/12 hour night shifts with every other weekend • Deliver patient care in long-term acute care setting • Maintain professional licensure and certifications • Document patient progress and treatment plans • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team • Assess and treat patients with complex medical conditions • Follow facility policies and procedures • Participate in patient discharge planning

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant General experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
