US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: provide physical security for the premises to ensure the safety and/or welfare of persons on the compound; provide appropriate response to breaches in physical security control (e.g. locks, fences, gates, and other barriers); control compound access to determining identity, purpose of visit, and destination for all personnel and visitors; deny access to personnel/visitor without authorization and proper identification to prevent unauthorized access to compound facilities; interact with public tactfully to provide assistance to general questions and non-emergency situations
