Pre-Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)

Location: Norfolk, VA (Onsite)

Coastal Management Solutions is partnering with a well-established personal injury law firm in Norfolk, VA to hire an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to support a high-volume plaintiff personal injury team. Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury case files from intake through pre-suit resolution
• Open new claims and conduct initial case assessments
• Request, obtain, and organize medical records, bills, and insurance documentation
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Draft demand letters and pre-litigation correspondence
• Track treatment progress and monitor case status and deadlines
• Coordinate client updates and maintain consistent case communication
• Assist attorneys with case evaluation and settlement preparation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of pre-litigation or personal injury paralegal experience preferred
• Strong understanding of personal injury claims process and insurance practices
• Experience working with medical records and demand packages
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
