Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Working with the City's vulnerability management system to identify, review, track, and remediate vulnerabilities
• Developing Active Directory Group Policies, automations, scripts, deployment packages, and customized installers
• Supporting remediation efforts related to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and ancillary software
• Assisting with research and implementation of remediation configurations for identified vulnerabilities
• Coordinating with cybersecurity teams on communications and change management processes
• Supporting deployment and correction of vulnerability remediation objects

Qualifications include:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and vulnerability management concepts
• Experience with databases, networking, virtualization, and OT operations
• Experience evaluating vulnerabilities and prioritizing remediation efforts based on risk
• Hands-on experience with MECM, Microsoft Intune, PatchMyPC, Workspace One, or

1. similar endpoint management platforms

• Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and batch scripting
• Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft Entra
• Knowledge of cloud security architecture and security best practices across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other public cloud platforms
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field plus 4+ years of IT experience, or equivalent combination of education and progressive technical experience
• Valid driver's license may be required
