Job Details

Lab Manager is responsible for organizing, planning, directing and evaluating services provided by the outreach, point of care, compliance and/or technical departments. Provides leadership and mentorship/support to the staff needs of the department, including management of day-to-day management and performance of staff. As a clinical expert ensures the provision of competent services by validating staff competency in accordance with standards of excellence, age specific and cultural sensitivity. In conjunction with the Medical Director and leadership assure compliance with regulatory agencies and undertake special projects as identified. Works through the leadership team to provide administrative oversight and direction in the provision of a comprehensive range of services. Reports all necessary maintenance and/or safety issues with recommended solutions to director. What you will do.
