• Office Equipment Available: Standard inpatient hospital equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Tele-support for admissions and floor call
• Support Staff Available: NPs and PAs

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Vent management
• Inpatient admissions and rounding

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active unrestricted VA medical license required
• Board: Board Certified in IM or FM accepted
• DEA: Active DEA with VA address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required
• Certifications: ACLS required
• Experience:
• Completion of ACGME/AOA-approved 3-year residency in EM, FM, or IM
• Case logs from the past 2 years required
• Other Qualifications:
• ECFMG certification required for foreign medical graduates
• Fellowship preferred
• Supervising physician responsibilities for NPs and PAs required
• Current immunizations and TB screening required
• Telehealth experience not required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient hospitalist/nocturnist coverage
• Manage admissions, rounding, and inpatient care
• Perform vent management as needed
• Supervise NPs and PAs
• Maintain accurate Epic documentation
