Job Details

We're looking for Cable Technicians to work in an Industrial and shipbuilding environment that can install, repair and produce using innovative methods for a growing industry in energy.  The ability to take your knowledge and expand on it for Fiber Optic and High Voltage projects is a must for this position. Primary duties include installing equipment, inspecting, maintaining and repairing equipment and setting up networks. 

Duties for Cable Technicians include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing cable system infrastructure
• Installing data and voice cables 
• Installing cabled devices and equipment
• Upgrading existing systems 
• Monitoring progress and cohesiveness of the project
• Performing system maintenance
• Working both solo or with a team
• Maintaining an orderly timetable to ensure goals are met
• Communicate concerns and findings with an eye for safety and detail
• Prior experience with Fiber Optic and High Voltage is highly useful
• Prior experience with NAVY and military equipment is a BIG PLUS as well
